    Description

    Publishers' Original Binding

    A New Edition, Corrected. From the Preface: "The utility of a Provincial Glossary to all persons derirous of understanding our ancient poets, is so universally acknowledged, that to enter into a proof of it would be entirely a work of supererogation."

    Condition

    Re-bound in a burgundy cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine and gilt embellishment to the front board. Externally, smart with just minor shelfwear. There is a library label to the front pastedown. There is also an ink library stamp to the title-page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with some pencil annotations throughout. There is also an ink inscription to the reverse of the title-page.
