    The first four volumes of a twelve volume set of the works of William Warburton. 

    New edition copies. 

    William Warburton was an English writer, literary critic and churchman and Bishop of Gloucester from 1759 until his death. These volumes contain The Divine Legation, with volumes one to three containing the first part and with the fourth volume containing part of the second part which is also spread over the next six volumes along with the third part. 

    With a frontispiece to volume one and eleven plates to volume four.
    Collated, complete.

    Condition

    In full calf binding. Externally, smart with some fading to the spines and light rubbing to the spines. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
