Doubtfully attributed to Maria Eliza Rundell, an English writer who sent an unedited collection of recipes and household advice to her friend John Murray, the owner of John Murray Publishing House. She neither asked nor expected any payment or royalties.
Condition
Rebound in quarter calf with cloth boards. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Light fraying to the edges where cloth has split. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd handling mark.
