Rebound in uniform half calf over marbled boards. Externally with shelf wear, front joint vol. I cracked, boards holding firm. Rubbed to joints, extremities of boards, and head and tail of spine. Previous owner's pencil inscriptions to front pastedown pastedown vol. I, previous ownership inscriptions to title page vols. II and III. Internally, firmly bound. Minor staining mark to frontispiece vol. I. Light minor spotting scattered to leaves.
