Written by Robert Dodsley, an eighteenth century English bookseller and writer.
This edition also contains an introductory memoir of Dodsley.
Including an engraved frontispiece, a vignette title page, and five more woodcut engravings by Mackenzie, from designs by Craig and Uwins.
Collated, and all plates are present, but lacking the title page.

Condition
Handsomely bound in half morocco with marbled boards and refreshed endpapers. Externally, very smart, with just a small amount of rubbing to the joints, head and tail of the spine, and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Frontispiece and title page, along with the other plates, contain a small amount of spotting and offsetting, but otherwise pages have remained generally bright and clean.
