What Our Customers Say...
Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce
Written by William Frend, fellow of the Jesus College, Cambridge; and Actuary to the Rock Life Assurace Office. William Frend was an English clergyman (later Unitarian), social reformer and writer. After a high-profile university trial in Cambridge, which deprived him of his residency rights as fellow of his college, he became a leading figure in London radical circles.
In a paper binding with cloth boards. Externally, rather worn with the joints working loose with some marks and fading. Internally, the sections are generally firmly bound to the spine but beginning to separate, generally bright with some slight age toning and clean with just some scattered spotting.
