What Our Customers Say...
Description
Colour Plates, Rebound
The sixth edition of this work. Lacking volume II. This work has been rebound, and in doing so pages 209-224 have been misbound between pages 336-337. Despite this, the volume is complete. The work was initially published in the year 1806 as one volume, with the second volume being published later in 1806. Therefore, the contents of this volume is what was originally considered to be the complete work despite the fact that the second volume was in publication at the time this sixth edition was published. The work has been written as a series of discussions between two characters, 'Mr Samuel Sensitive' and 'Mr Timothy Testy'. Upon its initial publication the work was considered to be a success. The discussions for this work range from sports, London and travelling to reading, social life and the body.
