Condition
In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Paper boards are rubbed with some light marks and discolouration, with a small chip to the head of the head of the front joint. Light bumping to the extremities. Light rubbing to the joints and extremities. Minormarks to the rear joint. Hinges are starting but firm. Two ink inscriptions to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned with the occasional spot, including to the plates. Chip to the folding map facing page 28. Tide mark to the plate facing page 289, and to page 289. The occasional pencil mark to the text.
