Printed in Latin and English. Volume V of original VI volumes. Francis Maseres was an English lawyer and mathematician who subsidised many mathematical publications which were influential for British mathematicians, although he also influenced mathematics negatively by attacked calculus.

Condition

In a cloth binding. Externally, sound with some rubbing and bumping. Front joint cracked and hinge tender. Label to rear board. Stamp to front free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright with some spotting. Stamp to title page. Repaired tears to title page.
