What Our Customers Say...

Description

Colour Plates, First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Uncommon

The uncommon first edition of this encyclopaedia by German medical writer Anthony Florian Madinger Willich, who specialized in diet, nutrition and other aspects of personal medicine.

Illustrated with twenty-eight plates; six plates to Volume I; seven to volume II; five to volume III, and with ten plates to volume IV, including one hand coloured. Collated, complete.

The subject matter of the encyclopaedia is largely concerned with domestic and agricultural information, with the majority of plates depicting farm equipment.

Willich provides a view of 'the latest discoveries, inventions, and improvements, chiefly applicable to rural and domestic economy'.

An excellent copy of this uncommon work.
