This scarce, two volume expanded edition has been brought up to the end of the eighteenth century by vicar Edward Edwards, with additional information on the life of the author, church members and religious houses also included.
With a portrait frontispiece to volume I.
Retaining the original half titles. With the bookplate of British Liberal Party politician Aneurin Williams to each pastedown.

Condition
Rebacked, with the original paper covered boards restored. Retaining the original endpapers. Minor shelf wear to back strip, with handling marks to boards. Front hinge lightly strained, but firmly held. Bookplates to front pastedowns. Internally, volume I firmly bound, with volume II first and last gathering detached and loosely inserted. Pages clean, with the odd light handling mark. Spotting to frontispiece.
