Early Edition, Rebound

An early edition, lacking the half-title so it is unknown which edition this is.

Edmund Burke's scathing reply to the Dukes of Bedford and Lauderdale, who attacked the award the King gave Burke, a pension of £2,500. Burke argues that he was rewarded on merit, but the Duke of Bedford argues that his rewards were from inheritance alone.

This was published the year before Burke's death.

Condition

Rebound in marbled paper wraps. Externally, smart, with some very light edge wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Bound without the half-title.
