With 41 monochrome plates. Missing frontispiece.
With a bookplate to the front pastedown belonging to D. B. Anderson.
This dictionary for sports was written by William Augustus Osbaldiston. The work provides an overview of terminology used in various recreational sports such as fishing, hunting and horse riding.

Condition
Bound in modern half morocco with cloth to the boards. Externally excellent with only light rubbing to the spine. Past owners bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, frontispiece not present. Pages age toned with the odd closed tear, mark and the odd spot heavier to the front. Tidemarks to the head of pages 631-635, heavier to the rear. Spotting and marks to the fore edge.
