What Our Customers Say...
Description
Early Edition, Rebound
Originally published in 1762 as ’A Report of Some Proceedings on the Commission of Oyer and Terminer’, this is the third edition of Foster's popular work.
This third edition features three new cases, those of John Midwinter, Richard Sims, and John Bell.
Foster's study is considered to be an authoritative work. The rebels he refers to in his title are prominent members of the Jacobite Rebellion of 1745, and he uses their trials to explain the workings of English criminal law.
