Collated, bound without frontispiece.

James Barlet's conclusive and practical treatise on farriery, looking into the treatment of many different diseases in horses, and the general care of the animal. Including parts on Monsieur de Fosse's methods of trepanning glandered horses, and a new method of nicking horses.

Condition

In a full calf binding. Externally, with some loss of leather to the extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. Faint ring mark to the rear board, with a few other light marks to the boards. Joints are a little cracked. Light bumping to the extremities. Hinges are starting. Prior owner's ink notes to the rear endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age toned and generally clean.
