Author Matthew Peters provides an informative agricultural treatise, explaining that 'agriculture may justly be called a Science, and indeed it is a noble study'. He goes on to discuss topics including the price of corn, soil alkalinity and acidity, and manure.

Condition

Rebound in quarter morocco, with marbled paper boards, and endpapers renewed. Fading to back strip, otherwise externally excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned, with handling marks to head of title page, and the odd spot throughout.
