Description

Early Edition, Illustrated, Scarce

Collected from authentic manuscripts, records, old wills, our best historians, and other authorities. Illustrated with their Coats of Arms, engraven on copper-plates. Also a list of all the Baronets who have been advanced to that dignity, from the first institution thereof. To which is added, an account of such Nova-Scotis Baronets as are of English families; and a Dictionary of Heraldry, explaining such terms as are commonly used in English Armory.

Condition

Three volumes bound in full leather with gilt titles to the spine, gilt detailing to the boards, and collates complete with 36 plates and in a lovely original binding. There is some mild wear to the extremities including slight bumping to the corners and slight rubbing to the spines. Joints are slightly cracked. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are generally bright and clean.
