A complete two volume set of Poems by Charles Churchill, a fourth edition copy. 

The first volume contains the poems The Rosciad, The Apology, Night, The Prophecy of Famine, An Epistle to William Hogarth and The Ghost in Four Books. The second volume contains The Conference, The Author, The Duellist, Gotham, in Three Books, The Candidate, The Farewell, The Times, Independence and Fragment of Journey. 

Charles Churchill was an English poet and satirist.

Condition

In full calf binding. Externally, a little worn. Some wear to the tail of the spine of volume two and to the extremities and some marks to the boards. Both front hinges are starting but remain firm. Pages are firmly bound with pages being a little age toned.
