Leather Binding, Original Binding

The second edition of this work. This work is a collection of nine letters, discussing various aspects of agricultural life, including timber, husbandry, and small farms. Arthur Young became a farmer in 1767, taking over a farm in Essex. He experimented with his farming, and though his attempts were generally unsuccessful, he gained a good working knowledge of agriculture. Young also started the publication 'Annals of Agriculture', which ran for forty-five volumes. Contributors of 'Annals of Agriculture' include King George III.
