The second edition of this very scarce work rebound in a cloth binding with renewed end papers. William Burke's examination into the commercial aspects, including Britain's colonies, of the negotiation between Britain and France in 1761. This is a very scarce work in this early edition. "In Which the System of That Negotiation With Regard to Our Colonies and Commerce is Considered." In this work Burke, who held the office of secretary to Guadaloupe in 1762, strongly advocates the British retention of the island.

Condition

Rebound in a cloth binding. Externally very smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned, as is usual for a text of this age, with tide marks to a few of the leaves.
