What Our Customers Say...
Description
Leather Binding
Initially published in Latin, and as two separate works, in the 1520s and 1530s, Germain's work is structured as a set of dialogues between the titular doctor of divinity and student of law, discussing a number of legal principles, and the relationship between common law and equity.
The first part presents an argument for parliamentary supremacy, and the second discusses the relationship between statute and common law, and ecclesiastical law.
