In a full calf binding. Light rubbing to back strip and joints, otherwise externally smart. Tail of front joint starting, with board holding firm. Rear hinge strained but firmly held. Bookplate to front pastedown. Lacking front and rear free endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages age toned, with significant spotting to page perimeters, most concentrated to first and last few leaves.
