A scarce copy of a 1751 parliamentary report concerning the stipends of ministers in the Church of Scotland. In this original source, the committee appointed by the Church of Scotland petition for reforms in legal procedures and a better division of parishes. Ink stains to page 121.
Condition
Bound in purple paper wraps. Externally, generally smart, with a little offsetting to the front and rear wraps and some sunning to the spine. A small closed tear to the fore edge of the front wrap, and some bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are a little age-toned and cockled throughout. Pages are generally clean with some scattered foxing.
