The works of Aquinas is the central point of reference for the philosophy and theology of the Catholic Church. Thomistic philosophy believes that the truth is to be accepted, no matter where it is found, and views theology as a science. Aquinas was an Italian Dominican friar and Catholic priest. This was a very popular work, with nine editions being published from 1669 to 1681. This work was originally published from 1659 to 1669 in sixteen volumes. Written by Jean Baptiste Gonet.
