What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Rebound, Very Scarce
In this first edition work, Robinson emphasises the importance of local customs in shaping the laws of the county of Kent, and covers a wide range of topics, including property law and contracts.
The 'Customs of Gravelking' referred to in the title was a form of inheritance common in the Saxon era, but was gradually supplanted by primogeniture after 1066.
A second edition was published in 1788.
