    'The Revenge' by Edward Young, published in 1735. ESTC citation number N61560. Page 12 is misnumbered 24. Illustrated with a frontispiece.

    'The Orphan' by Thomas Otway, published in 1746. ESTC citation number T43471. Illustrated with a frontispiece.

    'Cato' by Joseph Addison, published in 1744. ESTC citation number T28916. Illustrated with a frontispiece.

    'The Fair Penitent' by Nicholas Rowe, published in 1747. ESTC citation number N18382. Illustrated with a frontispiece.

    Collated, each play is complete.

    Condition

    In a full mottled calf binding. Externally, smart. Very light rubbing to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with the occasional spot. Stamp to the reverse of the title of 'The Mourning Bride', prior owner's ink inscription to the head of the title.
