A scarce first edition.

With 'complete lists of the Lords and gentlemen of his Majesty's most honourable Privy Council', this informative volume provides detailed information on the salary and duty of the 'every officer', both civil and military, of Great Britain.

The volume also includes 'an account of the government of the Cities of London and Westminster'.

Condition

In contemporary calf backed paper covered boards. Boards detached. Lacking calf at back strip head and tail. Bumping to board perimeters. Front free endpaper detached and loosely inserted. Internally, firmly bound. Paged lightly age toned due to paper type. Light worming to head of page 53 onwards, penetrating to rear pastedown, but rarely affecting the text. Light tide marks to fore edge of first two leaves. The odd instance of light spotting.
