The work of Giovanni Veneroni, a Vedunian linguist, lexicographer and grammarian.

Part I only of a four part work. Part I is the lengthiest of these four parts, and is titles 'L'Italiana con la Francese Tedesca e Latina', intending to aid Italian speakers in learning French, German and Latin.

The works from which this edition was drawn were initially published between the 1680s and 1710s.

Printed in two columns.

An informative and extensive dictionary.

Condition

In a full calf binding, with gilt detailing to back strip. Minor losses of leather to back strip head and tail. Tail of front joint starting, with board holding firm. Rubbing to joints and board perimeters. Internally, firmly bound. Pages age toned, with spotting and handling marks throughout. Significant spotting to first and last few leaves.
