Condition

In a full calf binding, rebacked with the original boards restored. Externally, generally smart, with evidence of former loss to the boards. Light marks and rubbing to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the extremities. Hinges have been reinforced. Evidence of a label being formerly adhered to the front paste down. Front endpaper is detaching. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper, and to the verso to the rear endpaper. Bookseller's label to the rear paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some spots. Faint tide mark to the first few pages.
