All issued together, this work comprises; a reissue of the 1684 third edition of Richard Perrinchief's 'The Royal Martyr: or, the Life and Death of King Charles I'; a reissue of the 1685 edition of John Gauden's 'Eikon basilike'; a reissue of the 1693 edition of Thomas Wagstaffe's 'A Vindication of King Charles the martyr'. 

This work is the variant ESTC cites without the errata to page 46. 

In a recent quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. 

Former owner's inscription dated 1871, Edmund Faunce Hardwick. 

Three noted royalist works bound together.

Condition

Recently rebound, in a quarter buckram binding with paper covered boards. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear. Former owner's inscription to the recto of front endpaper, D L Cumming. Contemporary inscription to the recto of front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Occasional light spots to pages.
