    Description

    Leather Binding

    Prior owner's inscription to the title page, Samuel Walshaw. 

    Being parts I and II bound together as one. 

    ESTC reference no: S103511 and S103510. 

    Alternative titles are 'The Mysteries of Mount Caluarie', 'Mount of Caluarie', 'Mysteries of Mount Calvarie'. 

    Condition

    Rebound, with a panel of the contemporary binding laid down. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the joints and extremities. Front hinge is slightly strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright. Worming to the majority of pages at the bottom margin. affecting the occasional word. Repair to the second part from A1-D1. Minor patches of damp staining to the margins.
