Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Volume V has been rebacked with the original boards and spine restored, with a small amount of loss to the rear board. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. A few minor marks to the boards and spines, with a slightly heavier mark to the rear boards of Volumes II and IV. A few spots to the fore edges. Front hinge of Volume I is starting but firm. Hinges of Volume III are starting but firm. Small amount of worming to the front pastedown and to the first few pages of Volume IV, not affecting text. Internally, firmly bound, though Volume II is generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with just a few light spots and light handling marks. Light tidemark to the tail of pages of Volume II.
