An indepth history of Banbury including historical and antiquarian notices of the neighbourhood.

Beautifully illustrated throughout with a subscriber's list to the front of the text.

Alfred Beesley (1800-10 April 1847) was an English topographer and poet.

CONDITION

In a half calf binding. Externally, rather worn to extremities and rubbing to the boards. there is some damage to the front joint. Internally, firmly bound, though with spotting throughout and a previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown, bearing the name William Marshall.
