A beautiful 'Oxford Edition' of Byron's poetical works. Lord Byron was a leading figure in the Romantic movement, is regarded as one of the greatest British poets and remains widely read and influential.

First edition thus.

With author's portrait to frontispiece 'from the engraving by Edwards after the painting by Phillips'.

Bound by Hatchards, Piccadilly with binder's stamp to verso of front free endpaper.

CONDITION

In a full morocco binding. Externally, generally very smart but with slight marks to front and rear boards. Internally, firmly bound. Very bright and clean but with the odd spot to last few pages.
