James Thomson (1700 1748) was a Scottish poet and playwright, known for his masterpiece The Seasons and the lyrics of Rule, Britannia!

With coloured frontispiece and vignette title page, plus other engravings throughout.

CONDITION

In a mottled calf binding. Externally rubbed, with some wear to the spines and extremities. Joints starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages have some foxing throughout. Overall: GOOD ONLY.
